A four board ranch rail fence running away across a wooded lot in long afternoon shadow
Who we are

A fence crew out of Mooresville.

Wood, aluminum, split rail and ranch rail, plus the gates and the repairs that go with all of them.

In their own words

The Google profile says it like this: we take pride in our experience, expertise, quality and customer service, and we take great care to work and communicate with every customer in a professional manner no matter how small or large the job is.

That last clause is the one you can test. A single leaning post and a five hundred foot run get the same walk and the same written estimate, and single gate calls are a normal part of the week.

What the reviews actually say

Read enough of them and the same four things come back. The crew is professional. The build quality is high. The fence is level. And the old fence went away.

The other pattern is speed without corners cut. One customer had a fence turned in under 48 hours from the time it was locked in. Another had 210 feet of black rod iron in and out in five to six hours. A third had an overgrown yard cleared and the fence built inside two days.

What we will not do

We will not hang rail on a post that has not cured, and we will not patch half a fence that is going to need the other half next year and call it a saving. If the honest answer is that the run is finished, you get told that along with a number for doing it properly.

I got multiple quotes, and he was the best priced as well. What I am most impressed with is that they put a screw hole in one of my posts backwards when installing a gate. Instead of just leaving the screw in, they removed the entire post and put a brand new one in. As a contractor myself I wish all of my crews would take a thought to quality like that.

If you're looking for high quality fencing, with superior craftsmanship, for a fair price, then look no further. I am an absolute perfectionist when building. These guys met every expectation and then some. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up their work areas daily, and completed the job within my expectations.

Nick's Fencing was a lifesaver. They fixed a fence that had been installed incorrectly by another company, something many companies wouldn't even give us a quote to repair. Nick came out on a Sunday, was extremely responsive, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly.

We had gotten five quotes from various fencing companies in the area and signed a quote with two of those companies who then did not show up or return our calls to install. Nick was installing a neighbor's fence so I asked him for a quote and he showed up within a few weeks and installed in basically one day. Fence looks great and quality is top-notch.

Nick and his crew made quick work of our old fence in just a few short hours. Within 2 short days later we had a fence to our liking and our very active German Shepherd Olive loves the new fence. All of his crew were very respectful and did great work. Pricing is very fair.

We were in a time crunch to pass homeowners insurance inspection. He graciously came out the next day to quote and his team fit us in within that first week. Without direction, they saved landscaped bushes and worked around them. I appreciated watching his team examine the fence slats to ensure there was no warping. His knowledge about pool fencing requirements was incredibly helpful.

Why us

Why 176 of them are fives.

176 of 184 reviews are five stars

Not an average that rounds up. It is the largest review count of any fence crew on this side of the lake.

The line gets walked before anything is dug

Gates, stepping and where the fence meets the house all get decided in the grass, not after the holes are in.

Posts set deep and crowned

Iredell clay holds water and a post in a wet hole rots at grade. The concrete gets crowned so water runs off it.

Old fence leaves the same day

Posts pulled rather than snapped off, holes filled, and the old panels go out on our trailer rather than into a pile by your driveway.

We will look at somebody else's mistake

A customer wrote that most companies would not even quote their repair. We came out on a Sunday and put it right.

Every gate swung before we leave

A contractor customer wrote that we pulled a whole post and replaced it over one backwards screw hole. That is what the walk is for.

Free written estimate, walked on site before anything is dug.
